Granite Falls, N.C. - I want the readers to know what a great man Jim Jacumin is and that he really cares about people.
My son was chosen to be a student ambassador for People to People. he went to Europe this summer for 20 days and was a delegation member for our area.
The cost was almost $7,000. We did fundraisers and I sent letters to every member of Congress in the state of North Carolina. I also sent letters to the mayors of Granite Falls and Hickory; neither one responded. I also sent a letter to Rep. Patrick McHenry; again, no response. I sent out over 300 letters to our Senate. I contacted every member, big or small.
Not one responded – except Jim Jacumin. He not only sent my son a donation, he picked up the phone and called my son. He told him he would be glad to support him and that he was proud of my son.
That call put a smile on my son's face! Someone he didn't know called to say he would support him.
Jim Jacumin has my family's votes. This is the kind of person we need on our side.
Wake up, readers! Take note. His name is Jim Jacumin and he cares for our children.
