Charges
• Tony Otis Earls, 36, of 702 Magnolia St., Granite Falls was served a warrant Wednesday for DWI and driving while license revoked. He was confined at Burke-Catawba District Confinement Facility. Court date: July 24.
• Christy Johnson Veach, 33, of 1952 Colridge Court, Connelly Springs was served criminal summons Wednesday for simple assault. Court date: Wednesday.
• Keith Ray Bollinger, 42, of 203 Vanetta St., Apt. 4 was served criminal summons Wednesday for a threatening phone call. court date: Sept. 18.
• Erica Scarberry Carson, 24, of 105-2nd Ave. N.W., Apt. 24, Hildebran was served criminal summons Wednesday for simple assault. Court date: July 30.
• Roger Lee Cook, 27, of 1041 Iron Lane was served a warrant Wednesday for obtaining property by false pretenses. He was confined at the Burke County Jail. Bond: $5,000 secured. Court date: Friday.
• Darrell Lamont Duncan, 35, of 1361 Oak Hill Drive was served an order for arrest Wednesday for speeding and driving while license revoked. Bond: $800 secured. Court date: Aug. 31.
• Danny William Thomas, 48, of 4951 Douglas Fox Road was served criminal summons Wednesday for manufacturing a controlled substance and communicating threats. He was confined at the Burke County Jail. Bond: $10,000 secured. Court date: Friday.
