Charges
• James Ralph Boyd, 30, of 3485 Ridge Court Drive, was served an order for arrest Thursday for possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after signing a written promise to appear. Court date: June 8.
• Paul Raymond Caudello, 36, of 3118 JG Ross Ave., was served a warrant Thursday for assault on a female. Court date: May 18.
• James Junior Miller, 47, of 2386 Liberty Church Road, Hickory, was charged Thursday with felony altering serial numbers, felony fleeing or eluding arrest with a motor vehicle, driving while license revoked, possession of an open container in a motor vehicle, failure to produce a registration card, fictitious tag, displaying an altered registration tag, failure to heed blue lights or a siren, careless and reckless driving and resisting a public officer. He was confined at Burke-Catawba District Confinement Facility (BCDCF). Bond: $10,000 secured. Court dates: was Wednesday, July 29.
• Clinton Collin Tipps, 24, of 3824 Pea Ridge Road, Lawndale, was served a warrant Thursday for felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver cocaine. He was confined at the Burke County Jail. Bond: $30,000 secured. Court date: was Wednesday.
• Joe Clifford Tipps Jr., 19, of 3824 Pea Ridge Road, Lawndale, was served a warrant Thursday for felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver cocaine. He was confined at the Burke County Jail. Bond: $30,000 secured. Court date: was Wednesday.
• Lorine Annett Vaughn, 37, of 7849 N.C. 18 S., was served a warrant Thursday for possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree trespassing. Court date: June 12.
• Marie Summer Buchanan, 31, of 107 Ross St., Apt. D, was charged Thursday with child abuse, DWI, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving during revocation, reckless driving or wanton disregard and violation of registration provisions. She was confined at BCDCF. Bond: $2,000 secured. Court date: July 15.
• Tyrone Sullivan March, 38, of 3177 Junior Epley Road, Glen Alpine, was served an order for arrest Thursday for two felony counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or forgery. He was confined at the Burke County Jail. Court date: June 8.
• Renee Knox Sipes, 52, of 101 Spann St., Apt. 1D, Connelly Springs, was served a warrant Wednesday for larceny. She was confined at BCDCF while awaiting a custody release. Court date: June 10.
