Group of seven wins $50,000 in lottery

C.W. Whitson of Hickory, Harold Blanton of Canton, Randall Blevins of Granite Falls, Robert Goble of Hudson, Gary Marion of Dobson, Wilson Montgomery of Hickory and Charles Silver of Marion won $50,000 in the April 25 Powerball drawing.

They purchased the winning ticket from Wilco on Springs Road NE in Hickory.
