A fire early Monday caused extensive smoke and heat damage inside Chesterfield Family Restaurant, also known as the Chesterfield Grill, at 2000 John's River Loop. The restaurant burned early Monday morning. A passerby saw the blaze and reported it. Fire, smoke and water damage inside is considerable and the cause is still under investigation.
