Nogales, daughter of Carolyn and Victor Nogales, has a head start on her college education with a two-year associate's degree from Burke Middle College when she graduates. She is on the dean's list and recognized for her academic excellence. Her idea for the yearbook theme was chosen for 2008-09 giving her the privilege to design the cover. She is in the Drama Club and has performed with the "Old Colony Players." She volunteered her dance class for college day at her school. In her community she assists the elderly and neighbors. Her plans for the future are to attend a four year college earning her bachelor's and master's degrees.
Farr was the scholarship winner at the chapter level. Her scholarship application and essay will go on to compete at the district level. If she wins at that level, her application will be forwarded to state and then to national.
