Charges
• Jeffery Daniel Rudisill, 24, of 6125 Gold Mine Road, was served a warrant Monday for second-degree trespassing and breaking and entering. He was confined at Burke-Catawba District Confinement Facility (BCDCF) while awaiting a custody release. Court date: Nov. 20.
• Bryan Scott Young, 38, of 9795 Catherine's Lane, Lot 5, Hickory, was served a warrant Saturday for possession of a controlled substance on jail premises and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was served an order for arrest for two counts of felonious obtaining property by false pretenses. He was confined at the Burke County Jail. Bond: $3,000 secured. Court dates: was Monday, Nov. 30.
• Alexander Lamont Shufford, 37, of 2255 Jamestown Road, was served criminal summons Saturday for simple assault. Court date: Nov. 4.
• Justin Michael Rogers, 26, of 3620 Curley's Fish Camp Road, Lot 9, Hildebran, was served a warrant Saturday for assault on a female. He was confined at BCDCF for 48 ours. Court date: Nov. 2.
• Charles Alan Smith, 35, of 315 Golf Course Road, was served an order for arrest Saturday for operating a vehicle with no insurance and having a canceled, revoked or suspended tag. He was released after signing a written promise to appear. Court date: Nov. 16.
• Bryan Garry Roark, 27, of 2591 Country Meadows, Valdese, was served criminal summons Saturday for first-degree trespassing. Court date: Oct. 30.
• Fredy Alberto Lopez, 20, of 106 Tucker Lane, was charge Saturday with DWI, no operator's license and traffic control device violation. He was confined at BCDCF. Bond: $1,000 secured. Court date: Nov. 30.
• James Randy Hampton, 45, of 3413 Icard Dairy Barn Road, Icard, was served a warrant Friday for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and worthless check. He was confined at the Burke County jail. Bond: $500 secured. Court dates: Nov. 5, Nov. 18.
• Glen Edward Deal, 35, of 908 Eldred St. S.E., Valdese, was charged Oct. 14 with resisting, delaying or obstructing arrest and failure to appear in court. He was confined at BCDCF. Bond: $300 secured. Court date: Nov. 23.
