    Draughn boys lose double-digit lead on Sr. Night

    The Draughn boys basketball team jumped out to an 11-0 lead over reigning CVAC 2A champs West Caldwell Tuesday on Senior Night, but the Warriors tied the score by halftime and put away a 54-40 win with bookend 7-0 and 6-0 scoring runs in the third period.

    Draughn’s T.R. Robinson was named Catawba Valley 2A Conference Coach of the Year for both boys and girls swimming, while Wildcat senior sprinter Alex McGee repeated as boys Swimmer of the Year, the league recently announced.
