Caudle said town staff met with MBI Builders and McGill Associates on Oct. 17 for a preconstruction meeting. The contractors said work on the park would begin sometime this week, Caudle said. That includes clearing and grubbing and erosion control. The park should be completed at the end of March. Council also chose to turn a part-time administrative assistant position to a full-time position, Caudle said. The position is vacant, and the town will begin advertising the job this week.
