The 6th annual Red, White and Bluegrass Festival kicked off Wednesday at its new home, Catawba Meadows Park,701 Sanford Drive in Morganton, right along the Catawba River Greenway. Bluegrass lovers, festival-goers, musicians and vendors have come from all over the country to participate in the four-day music fest.

Performing on day-two, Thursday, at the Red, White & Bluegrass Festival are:
Sweet Potato Pie at noon
Wildfire at 2 p.m.
NewFound Road at 3:15 p.m.
Dave Peterson & 1949 at 4:30 p.m.
Larry Stephenson at 5:45 p.m.
III Tyme Out at 7 p.m.
Mountain Heart at 10 p.m.
