As we draw near to the close of this election campaign for the Burke County Board of Education, I am glad this mess that has drawn all the attention away from our students will soon be over.
The people of Burke County have united against all the wrongdoing by the board majority. The pitiful actions of our current board majority have taken a toll on every area of life in our beautiful county.
We, the people, are taking back the dignity and respect deserving of our leadership. My prayer is that healing can begin in our county.
I support SWAT: Stroup, Wilkinson, Armour and Thomas. As citizens concerned for what is right, we have no choice. We must vote SWAT on Nov. 3.
