As a math teacher I need answers.
All of the school board candidates at the chamber forum acknowledged reading the SACS CASI report, some many times. The problems cited in the SACS report involved violations of standards by the board of education. I think it is the board majority's job to provide the answers to the problems it has created, not a highly paid administrator or hired attorney. It is unlikely and apparent that those who created the problem, or their supporters, have the ability or the inclination to do so.
The only people who have offered proactive, concrete solutions to the SACS dilemma did so in a lengthy full-page paid advertisement in The News Herald. I am voting for doers, not talkers; people who have offered answers; Susan Stroup, Sam Wilkinson, Buddy Armour and Catherine Thomas.
