WPCC speakers forum continues

Anna Lappe, food activist and co-author of "Hope's Edge: The Next Diet for a Small Planet," was the featured speaker Tuesday during the Western Piedmont Community College 2009 Fall Speakers Forum: Food for Thought. The forum continues today, with WPCC's Sustainable Agriculture Program Coordinator Chip Hope as the feature speaker at 12 p.m. Writer Joel Bourne will speak Thursday at 7:15 p.m. Programs will take place in the Leviton Auditorium on the campus of WPCC. The event is free, open to the public and includes sign language interpretation.
