Third graders at Rutherford College Elementary School waxed nostalgic on Wednesday while they educated schoolmates about notable figures in history.
Students in Suzanne Jensen's, Marilee Mauser's and Laura Roberts' third-grade homeroom classes spent approximately one month preparing for the school's annual wax museum presentations.
Each student read and studied a biography about a notable historical figure or personality and prepared a report for class.
On the day of their presentations, the students rotated through other classrooms around the school and the media center. Each presented biographical information while in costume, in the fashion of a traditional wax museum character, to schoolmates, staff, faculty and visiting parents.
