Charges
Patricia Lynn King, 31, of 1035 Salem Road, Apt. A was served an order for arrest Tuesday for financial identity fraud. She was confined at Burke-Catawba District Confinement Facility. Bond: $8,000 secured. Court date: Nov. 3.
David Rocky Newton, 31, of 215 Shuffler Road, Apt. A was served criminal summons Tuesday for communicating threats. Court date: Nov. 18.
Randy Lynn Stilwell Jr., 25, of 6558 Camp Meeting Road, Connelly Springs was served a warrant Tuesday for child abuse. He was confined at BCDCF. Bond: $1,000 secured. Court date: was Wednesday.
Brittany Deielle Jassan McNeely, 23, of 137 Park Ave., Marion was served a warrant Sunday for two counts of simple worthless checks. She was released after signing a written promise to appear. Court date: Nov. 30.
Joshua Michael Hurt, 28, of 103 Glasbrook St. was charged Sunday with DWI, driving during revocation, reckless driving to endanger and failure to an accident. He was confined at BCDCF while awaiting a custody release. Court date: Dec. 28.
Kong Meng Vang, 18, of 2919 Shell Ave., Valdese was charged Saturday with provisional licensee under the age of 21-years driving after consuming alcohol and stop sign violation. He was confined at BCDCF while awaiting a custody release. Court date: Dec. 2.

The Morganton/Burke Crimestoppers asks anyone with information on a crime to call its hotline number at 437-3333. Rewards are offered to individuals with information that leads to arrests. All callers will remain anonymous.
