Honoring an artist and her work

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Artist Reather Dula-Ervin, seated, was honored at the Goodfellow Gallery on Thursday at Western Piedmont Community College. In observance of Black History Month, her work was displayed and she was on hand to visit with friends old and new. Marjorie Ervin, right, approaches for a hug as the artist greets dear friend, Helen McDowell, left. Youngest daughter, Kelly, far left, holds a portrait made of her a few years earlier. Dula-Ervin has had careers as a pastry chef, furniture worker, domestic engineer and now as a successful artist.
