Burns: Say it often: We need more jobs

I am not writing this letter only for my family, but for every other American family in Burke County and our other surrounding counties.
We are in a severe depression, of course, but what is our government doing to help our fellow Americans?
I went door to door, asking every family in the area if there were any members of the household over 18 who were employed. Out of the 1,400 people in just my area, 497 were employed and the rest were drawing unemployment or retired.
I don't see it said often enough. We need some kind of industries and jobs.
