Whisnant: Stand up for the unborn children

Our children are the only legacy we leave on this earth when we leave it. Our two sons have been the greatest joy of our lives. I can't imagine my life without hearing them call me "Mom."
Our nation has aborted 50 million babies since Roe vs. Wade in 1973. We have killed a generation of tax-paying Americans. Imagine how much money this many people would have contributed to the depressed housing market. Imagine the cars this many people would have bought had they been allowed to see life. Multiply the taxes we pay today by the number of abortions that have been performed in our nation.
Even if you ignore the moral abomination that is abortion, we have brought about our own economic demise, all in the name of "choice." And even in this sophisticated age, our leaders refuse to recognize the facts.
God help us to wake up and stop the killing of the only innocence left in the world — the unborn child. Please stand up for the rights of the most helpless among us.
