A 30-year-old man died Friday after his vehicle traveled off Conley Road and overturned several times.
Nathan Lee Digh, 30, of 2735 Acorn Drive was dead at the scene, North Carolina State Highway Patrol Trooper Eric Phillips said.
Digh was driving south on Conley Road when his 1990 Chevrolet pick-up truck ran off the road to the right near Bedford Avenue, Phillips said. The vehicle struck a cement culvert, then an embankment before overturning several times.
The vehicle came to a rest on its top facing north in the southbound lane, Phillips said.
The wreck occurred at 4:05 p.m.
According to obituary information Digh was the son of William Wallace Digh Jr. and Rebecca Chapman Osborne. He was employed at C& C roofing and was an avid hunter.
