No one filed for office at the Burke County Board of Elections on Tuesday.

In addition to the nine who filed for office Monday, several more candidates filed for offices with the North Carolina State Board of Elections.

Democrat Tom Hill of Zirconia and Republican Mark Meadows of Highlands filed for the 11th Congressional District.

Democrat J. Pascal of Valdese filed for House District 86.

Incumbent Rep. Mike Hager (R) of Rutherfordton filed for House District 112.
