Spence Campbell of Hendersonville officially added his name Wednesday to the list of candidates for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District.
Campbell, a Republican, is a retired military intelligence officer.
District Court judges Burford A. Cherry and Gary Dellinger filed Tuesday for re-election in the 25th Judicial District.
Cherry, of Hickory, won his first election in 2000.
Dellinger was appointed by Gov. Mike Easley in 2007 to the position. He won election in 2008.
Judicial races are non-partisan.
The filing period continues until noon Feb. 29.
