The addition of a third shift at Case Farms means more jobs, so put on your Sunday best and head to The Outreach Center, 510 E. Fleming Drive, on Thursday for the job fair.

The job fair runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. People who attend the job fair should bring a copy of their resume.

Case Farms, The Outreach Center and North Carolina Division of Employment Security partnered to host the job fair.

Approximately 260 third-shift jobs are available in food processing and operations, said Maria Martinat, a public relations representative for Case Farms. Experience is preferred, but not required, and training will be available for people who meet other criteria.

Case Farms added a third shift as part of an expansion effort due to increased demand, Martinat said. She added the company is also showing its commitment to Morganton by creating more jobs in the community.
