Gunman sought after home invasion

Officers are looking for a gunman in a late-night robbery.

Reinaldo Rodriguez Acosta, 38, of 419 W. Concord St. told officers on Friday at 11:53 p.m. that an armed man burst into his home and robbed him at gun point, according to a Morganton Public Safety incident report.

The robber made off with Acosto’s wallet, $400 in cash, a debit card and IDs, Acosto reported.

No description of the suspect was available.
